I feel so blessed to have your Darshan once again,

And feel your grace descend upon my spiritual garden.

Although I was enjoying your all-pervading form during this past year,

Little did I know that our next meeting would be so near.

Your teachings are simple, but sometimes hard to do,

Because the ego overpowers the conscience and creates a conflict between the two.

But with your grace I get strength to continue marching forward,

And one day make my life in line with your Word.

Slow and steadily I move forward with your teachings in mind,

Sometimes I feel like the turtle who was left behind.

I heard in one of your discourses that the turtle knows the road much better than the rabbit,

That gave me hope that one day you will destroy all my bad habits.

Once, you explained that bliss is happiness beyond the senses,

I wonder if I will ever reach that state after climbing over all the fences.

I used to wonder if it is really possible to have salvation while living and be completely free,

Then I saw a living example in Rishi Kamal Ji.

Baba Ji, you are a role model for me,

Now I finally know like whom I have to be.

I know that your visit to Montreal was for the benefit of all,

But it feels like you came for me after hearing my call.

I called you from the depths of my soul,

To come shape my destiny and help reach my goal.

Now I've begun my life as a householder,

Day by day I get older.

Time is quickly passing by,

I am determined to be free before I die.

Only with your grace can my dream come true,

Once my ego is destroyed, I will be one with you.
